The Pinto Horse Association of America registers many kinds of equines under the pinto breed! There is a Color Registry available for horses meeting the coat pattern requirements (tobiano and overo), and a Solid Registry available for horses that are one color and lack the characteristic white markings. There are different sizes of pintos ranging from: Mini, Pony, Utility, and Horse! From there, a type can be defined such as: Stock, Hunter, Pleasure, Saddle, Mini A, Mini B, Gypsy/Vanner, and Drum. PtHA also has a Long Ear Registry for mules and donkeys, allowing them to compete!
